![]() ![]() These calendars are where I write all the bills that are due, and other expenses (like birthdays and payments that happen every year or 6 months) that I can’t forget. Having monthly calendars in my finance planner was necessary for me. But having blank paper for lists in my finance planner is great for just jotting down notes of things I need to do or remember while I’m out. I’ve tried smaller planners for my daily stuff, and I just need the room in a bigger planner. My home planner is a Classic Happy Planner (and can I just say that I am obsessed with the drawings in this planner!), and is quite big and bulky, so I don’t like to carry it around with me. The second tab is my shopping lists and things I need to remember while I’m out. Scrapbook paper is so awesome for a lot more than scrapbooking! I use it all. I downloaded an envelope template and cut it into scrapbook paper. So I made 4 of these envelopes for my different spending categories. Eventually I will be using the cash system. They are also great quality! Plus, did I mention that you get 5 of them in a package?! So much better than Filofax brand which usually cost more and you just get ONE.īehind my cards I have a paper envelope for cash. But that was an easy fix, and I highly recommend these if you want to turn a personal sized Filofax into a wallet. I did have to punch a tiny bit more from one of the holes. But for now this is just what I needed.Īlthough the card pockets are made for Day-Timer Planners, the holes were in almost exactly the same places as my personal sized Filofax. I purchased these card holders made by Day-Timer, and they are working great! I eventually want to get another set and add more of my gift cards to the inside (right now most of them are in a separate business card holder). The first tab is where my debit and credit cards are kept, along with some of my most used loyalty cards and gift cards. I’ve even used it for foiling! My Planner Sections Section 1: Cards & Cash Need a laminator? I highly recommend this one! I’ve had it for years and it still works perfectly. ![]() Eventually I will add labels, but I wanted to make sure I had everything in the right order first. There are tabs on the dividers, but no labels yet. I picked out scrapbook papers that I liked, and laminated them after they were cut out. The dividers for this planner were made with my Silhouette machine. ![]() And the pocket behind the card slots is where I keep any coupons I get. They are perfect for holding the cards I use most often and want easy access to, like my drivers licence. The main reason I choose the Finsbury was for these pockets on the inside cover (and the one on the back cover with I’ll talk about in a minute). I am still just as in love with this planner as I was the day it arrived in the mail! Zip pocket with cash, coins and keys Various papers in the right hand slip pocket.Using my Personal Filofax Finsbury as my wallet and finance planner has been an amazing setup! I love how I always have the information that I need with me!Ī few months ago I showed a preview of my pretty little Personal sized Filofax Finsbury in Raspberry. This pocket is also an old one so it is nice and sturdy Then come stamps and hole reinforcing patches in a clear Filofax pocket. I miss the days when there were so many different well-designed Filofax inserts. A really nice to do list with check boxes and nice big spaces in which to write. As you can see I only have until October in this binder, because it is for me to use for travel to South Africa. After that comes a Burde weekly calendar which is ideal for daily lists. I like vertical week on two pages as it gives me a quick overview of my week and is an ideal layout if you need to schedule appointments. I usually use the white Burde ones but at this time of year they are all sold out. Then comes my vertical week on two pages calendar by Filofax. They are on the front for quick notes to myself and to students. These tear-off memo sheets are from 1983. Lots of credit card slots, a slip pocket and a pen loop that fits my pen I have never used a binder without a clasp of some sort and was worried that this would fall open in my bag but that has not been a problem at all. The weight of the pen keeps the cover shut and the contents safe in my bag. This binder is soft and flexible (no stiffening), it has gorgeous square corners and tiny rings Nice and slim. I will be able to note itineraries, take bookings for the autumn term, and keep lists for South Africa and also Sweden when I get back. I am planning on using this one for my trip to South Africa. The leather is soft and flexible, I like the square corners, and the tiny rings keep me from overstuffing. I have now moved completely into my black slimline Classic Filofax. ![]()
